Justin Chu

Justin Chu graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honour) majoring in Global Creative Industries at the University of Hong Kong in 2019. He was an elected undergraduate member to the board of HKU Faculty of Art, and was appointed as the undergraduate representatives to the Committee on Gender Equality and Diversity (CGED) by the faculty. CHU also chairs the Student Affairs and Outreach Subcommittee of CGED during his tenure as undergraduate representative and he was invited back to chair the subcommittee after graduation. Justin also guest lectured in The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Lingnan University on topics related to Asian cross-dressing culture and relationship between pornography and masculinity. He also hosted seminars and workshops regarding to mensuration politics, sex education, and cross dressing culture. As a performing arts enthusiast, Chu has performed in various platform. He was invited to perform in Jérôme Bel’s Gala as Justine de Beauvoir, his drag alter ego earlier this year for No Limit, a programme co-presented by the Hong Kong Arts Festival and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

As On Air Collective’s communication manager Karen helps clients identity their PR goals, strategize and execute their online and offline initatives, connect them to the right journalists, bloggers and influencers, while tracking the results of every single communications effort.

Sandra Chow

Sandra Chow is a Psychology graduate and the founder of Nail Me, which is driven by their motto “Nourish Me. Nurture Me”.In 2009, Sandra opened the first Nail Me branch in Tsim Sha Tsui, where her quest to create quintessential nail salon experience began. She has since given birth to two kids and opened two more branches. In 2016, Sandra decided to expand her brand from the highest level of service to a new concept that is concluded by their new motto, “Nourish Me. Nurture Me.” as she wants to spread awareness of happiness, especially for women.

Being a mom and a boss, Sandra eventually realised she neglected her own emotion for a very long time — happiness and self-love are very important for women. This year is the 10th Anniversary of Nail Me and Sandra would like to use this opportunity to amplify this message as well as to show appreciation to the Hong Kong community by using and collaborating with more and more talented local brands.

Selina Kong, the Founder of The Big Things playground and kitchen. As a mother of two, Selina feels that playing, learning and well-being are incredibly important for children. Therefore, she founded The Big Things, a unique nature themed indoor playground. To compliment the playground, Selina created The Big Things Kitchen to promote a balanced diet and make delicious, healthy food easily accessible.

Sharon Yu is a momtrepreneur who also is a mother of two. Although she spent a huge amount of time taking care of them both, she built her aesthetic clinic in her 30s. She believes that actions speak louder than words and only “balance of life” can lead us to a confident, beautiful and fulfilling life. Being a mom does not mean you have to look like a mom. We can live young and be energetic, inside out. We care for our children, and we learn and play with them, we do things TOGETHER.

Asha Cuthbert

Asha Cuthbert (aka ASHA ETC) is a British-Filipino influencer who prides herself on being an open book. Between her Youtube videos and Instagram posts, Asha is always vocal and honest about her opinions, whether it be a makeup review or political statement. Over her 10 year career on social media, she has acquired over 160,000 followers on various platforms with fans from all over the globe looking to her for inspiration and a good laugh. Asha has worked diligently to educate her young audience on numerous issues that would be deemed taboo by Hong Kong’s standards, such as LGBT rights and suicide prevention, oftentimes making her seem controversial to the mainstream media. Despite this, Asha strives to be a role model for young women in Hong Kong by making sure they know it’s okay to be themselves, and to never let their voices be hushed.

Founder of ethical brand Basics for Basics, Kayla Wong graduated from fashion school with a degree in merchandise marketing. 2 years ago started her brand in pursuit of her passion to make a difference through fashion. Karen Tang

Karen Tang- graduated from London College of Fashion, majoring in Fashion Styling and Photography. She was the host for the travel program “Afaye and Cloud’s Journey ” where she had visited Europe, Malaysia, South America, Nepal, and Vietnam to record different cultures and places of interest in real life. Later, Karen decided to leave all the pre-show performances to focus on its photography business. She has participated in various album covers, concerts and concert posters, including Andy Lau, Kevin Kwan, Endy Chow, Justin Lo, ​Fiona Sit, Josie & the uni boys, JW, LMF, RUBBERBAND, etc. In 2017, she was applauded by director Chapman To as a movie still photographer  "The Empty Hands", other movies including "Undercover Superstar", "Still human" and "The White Storm 2 Drug Lords". In addition, Karen also enjoys using the unique set of portrait photography styles in each overseas travel to capture different cultures as well as the lens to record in the photos.

Natalie Chan

Natalie Chan is an engineer, corporate professional, film producer, adventure seeker, educator, entrepreneur and a member of the Global Shaper community. Her curiosity in education was sparked from the realization that there is a mismatch between schools and the real world. Natalie founded OWN Academy in 2016, as an innovative education solution for the 21st Century with a focus on talent discovery and career development. Her goal is to help students find their own direction through exposure to modern industries and inspiring mentors,  provide future of work skills training and offer alternative learning opportunities. As a result of Chan's diverse achievements, she was selected as one of 50 young people from around the world, representing Asian youths in Davos this year.

Hilda Leung is a media chef and the founder of Flavor Works. She is also a culinary creative artist, the marketing, branding, and R&D Manager for Maxims HK. She won the champion in Hong Kong and became the second runner up in Asia in the 2016 Disciples Escoffier Young Chef Talent Trophy.

Maria Wong

A curator and an art producer, currently the Managing Director of HKwalls, and the Co-Director of Current Projects. Her passion in the arts reflects in her career trajectory; she began her career working with Hong Kong cinema titans Ringo Lam, Tsui Hark and Johnnie To; after a brief stint in the commercial gallery business, she was invited to join the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation team in 2002 and led the Performing Arts Department of the organisation for 14 years, curating and managing various arts festivals, events, outreach programs and theatre productions. Maria officially joined HKwalls in 2015. HKwalls is a non-profit art organisation that aims to create opportunities for local and international artists to showcase their talent. It runs an annual street art and mural festival during HK Art Month, strives to produce high-quality arts and creative experiences that are accessible to all. Its year- round programming focuses on artists’ career development and raising awareness through the arts. She established Current Projects in 2017 with Jason Dembski, a creative agency that provides bespoke design and art consultancy to clients worldwide. Together they curate and produce creative content that engages and connects with businesses and their audience.

Ada is the CEO at Urban Spring, a purpose-driven start-up with a mission to reduce the consumption of single-use plastic in Hong Kong through the provision of smart water drinking experience to the citizens. Ada is also a director at WYNG43 Social Investment which invests financial and human capital in innovative social start-ups. Prior to these ventures, Ada was the Program Director of the i2i (incubation to investment) program at SOW Asia. Ada is on the board of Hong Kong Institute of Social Impact Analysts, Teach For HongKong and Education For Good. Ada is also a member of the Advisory Committee at the Enhancing Self-Reliance Through District Partnership Programme under the Home Affairs Department of the Hong Kong Government. Prior to joining the impact investing industry, Ada worked at a number of financial institutions in Toronto, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
